5-in-1 Musical Toys for Toddlers 2-4 – Birthday Gift with Trumpet & Flute

This set is so adorable. The kids will really enjoy this set. The horn really works but alil hard to blow at times. The flute comes with a nice buttoned package for long term storage. The only gripe I have is that the microphone doesn't sound the greatest. Well it's alil hard to understand what anyone is saying and the music it plays is very low. However this set is nice and about the only kids instrument set I have found with a actual working trumpet. All the others have a fake trumpet that is useless. Trust me iv been looking everywhere because my son is obsessed. So that alone I can get over any downsides and makes this set worth my money.

This 5-in-1 musical toy set has a fun concept and includes a nice variety of instruments for toddlers, but unfortunately, the quality didn’t meet expectations. The flute broke on the very first day, which was disappointing. The trumpet looks cute, but it’s extremely difficult to produce any sound — even for an adult, let alone a child.Overall, the set looks and feels more like a low-cost plastic toy than a Montessori-inspired learning tool. While the maraca and harmonica were okay, the durability and playability of the other instruments were underwhelming.

Got these for my kiddo, as she is interested in playing music band. They are surprisingly sturdy. The recorder feels like the ones we got in elementary school, it's just blue instead. The trumpet is a little odd, you need to press one of the buttons for it to make any sound when you blow.The harmonica is a 7 note, and sounds pretty good. The maraca has a cool spinny bit on one end that looks very neat when you shake it, kiddo was super into looking at it. The microphone has pre-programmed music and took 3 AAA batteries.All together, these are very fun! We've been playing along to various songs since it arrived, and having a blast!

I noticed after I ordered this item that someone said in a review that it was dollar store quality so that worried me. But when I got it, it far exceeded my expectation. It is very high quality toy. Superior thick plastic construction. All the instruments work like real instruments not pretend. It makes different notes on the flute based on finger position and the horn has three keys and they work.

These are a lot of fun if you want to start a garage (or kitchen) band. Plenty of instruments to choose from and all operational. Except for the microphone. With 3 AAA batteries it still doesn't work. So I'm not sure how it sounds or what it's supposed to do. kinda disappointing. But plenty of other options in this set. They are all made of good quality material. No sharp edges and a good solid base. Safe for kids.
