Busy Board

These sensory busy boards are suitable from 12 months and up. There’s no single “best age,” but they grow with your child:

• 1–3 years old: Choose a simpler board with around 5 elements, such as gears and flaps, that your child can open and explore. Start simple, and let complexity grow as they develop.
• 3–4 years old (preschoolers): Introduce more activities like locks and keys or lacing toys to challenge their problem-solving and fine motor skills.
• 4–5 years old: Engage your child with a wider range of activities, including mazes, string beads, and other hands-on challenges.

As part of Montessori toys, these boards develop fine motor skills, coordination, problem-solving, and independence—all through fun, hands-on play.
