It was something we had not seen before, so we got it and are very pleased with how even a 2 month old finds it entertaining. As he begins his teething, he will already know about it and be comfortable with it. The USB recharge feature makes it safe (can conceal the battery and electronics) and convenient (charges up almost anywhere)-note that the charge port is behind a tiny hole at the middle of the toy, next to the "DC" marking.
